Sending my deepest condolences to the Zurini family.
Conrad was definitely one-of-a-kind. I always appreciated that no matter how busy he was, he'd always take the time to talk to me. I enjoyed the opportunities I got to work with him directly; to see and hear his ideas on keeping our web products fresh and competitive.
The memory I'd like to share was my first RE/MAX EN Holiday Party. During his speech, Conrad acknowledged me and thanked me for the work I'd done bringing our websites in-house. That meant so much to me coming from him and at that event.
You won't find many CEOs who will call you on your birthday and give you best wishes. I had no idea he did that until I got my first call a couple of years ago. A very nice gesture.
Thank you for all you've done. You've left a positive impact on so many people!
You'll be missed.
Kyle Dowling

Conrad was the only person who picked up the phone and called me on my birthday. It was a simple gesture, but it meant the world to me and made me feel truly valued.
Whenever I called, he would answer. He listened to my questions, shared his wisdom, and was always willing to offer advice. He was the closest thing I had to a mentor, and I will miss him deeply. I will always be grateful for his kindness, generosity, and the impact he had on my life.

We have known Conrad and his family for many years and feel grateful to have shared so many memories and moments along the way.
We had the pleasure of being partners and the time we shared will always be remembered with kindness and appreciation. Conrad was someone who made an impact on the lives of those who knew him and he will be remembered for the person he was and the memories he leaves behind.
Our thoughts are with his family and all those who loved him. Rest peacefully, Conrad. You will be remembered with respect, warmth and gratitude.

Like many others, I have struggled to find the words this past week.
I first met Conrad years before I ever joined RE/MAX Escarpment. We sat down for coffee
and explored whether there might be a way for me to bring my growing Grimsby business
into the brokerage. We both knew it wasn't the right time, and we went our separate ways.
Years later, I received a short text from Conrad. Typical Conrad.
First, a compliment about my numbers - because he always paid attention to the numbers.
Then a note that things were changing and that he had some news to share. Could we
meet?
The rest is history.
Conrad made our move to RE/MAX Escarpment seamless. He created an opportunity that
was good for me, good for my team, and one that reflected the kind of leader he was. During the past two years, I came to know not only a remarkable businessman, but one of the most extraordinary people I have ever met.
No matter what challenge arose, I always felt that I could count on him.
What made Conrad unique was not simply his success. It was the rare combination of charisma, intelligence, humour, compassion, confidence, and generosity that he carried with him every day. Most people spend a lifetime developing one or two of those qualities. Conrad seemed to possess them all.
For many of us, he was our North Star.
Today, an entire brokerage grieves. A family grieves. Friends, colleagues, clients, and an
entire community grieve. The loss feels immeasurable because the impact of the man was
immeasurable.
Yet if there is one thing Conrad taught us, it is that leadership is not about one person. It is
about the legacy that person leaves behind.
There is a time to grieve, and we should. But there will also come a time to carry forward what Conrad built - to support one another, lead with the same generosity of spirit, and continue raising the standard he set. I believe that is exactly what he would have wanted, and perhaps the greatest way we can honour him.
On behalf of myself and The Lynn Fee Team, our hearts and prayers are with the entire
Zurini family.
Thank you, Conrad, for believing in people, for leading with vision, and for reminding us that success means little unless it lifts others along the way. Your influence will continue to be felt in the lives you touched, the culture you shaped, and the countless people who are
better because they knew you.
You will be deeply missed, but your legacy will endure.
Lynn Fee

Conrad and i went to the same high school, he was 2 years older and i ran into him a few times on the King Street bus, he was also involved in many activities at school and was well known by everyone and was outgoing and a very nice guy.
Condolences to all his family and friends.

First of all, my heartfelt condolences to the Zurini family. I had the privilege to work with Conrad, Joey, Mari, and Ann, and see how close of a family they are.
When I first started working for the marketing department covering a maternity leave, I got to meet Conrad - who's energy and passion was infectious. He listened to my ideas and encouraged me from the start, seeing a potential in me that I didn't fully know I had. Reading the other posts, I see that this was kind of his specialty. Conrad supported others and showed up for people where it mattered, sharing opportunities and knowledge freely.
What started as a maternity leave contract turned into over 4 unforgettable years at the company, because Conrad believed in me. I'll carry that with me forever, like so many other people will.
Allison Lewington

Words are never enough to describe the loss of a person who was larger than life. Conrad was a leader, a mentor, an inspiration, a voice, a friend and so much more. He lead by example, by kindness, by inspiration and he thrived doing what he did best. He will be deeply missed by everyone who had the chance to meet him. May he rest in peace. Condolences to his whole family.

I have had the privilege of working with the Remax family since 2023 and they are just that.. family! And seeing that family lose such an amazing person is heartbreaking. Conrad was an inspiration to all! My deepest condolences to the Zurini family. Such a loss is difficult beyond words but Conrad's legacy will live on through all who knew him.

Conrad possessed many excellent virtues, but the one I will remember most was his unwavering commitment to his realtors during complex, high-stakes situations. It’s easy to offer support when things are smooth, but the true test of a leader comes when challenges arise and the stakes are high.
During my time with Escarpment, there were occasions that required high-level guidance, and the situations were elevated to Conrad. Despite managing a brokerage of a thousand agents, he didn't just offer quick advice from afar. He stepped in and acted as if I were his only agent, staying engaged every step of the way until we reached a successful resolution.
Having a leader who genuinely has your back is just incredibly rare in business. Conrad always had countless innovative projects on his plate, but when a single agent needed his support, he was there.
My deepest, most heartfelt condolences go out to the Zurini family, as well as to the entire RE/MAX Escarpment and RE/MAX Niagara family. We have lost a truly exceptional leader and human, and he will be deeply missed by everyone he so proudly championed.
Mike McCarthy

I met Conrad in 2006. I was a 22yr old kid, I had just acquired my real estate license. One of the first deals I ever did was with Conrad down in Stoney Creek on Meadowvale Ave. I was with Escarpment and Conrad was at Delmar. I was still learning, and was desperate to start making some money- but Conrad treated me with the utmost respect and kindness. It was the first transaction that I didnt feel like it was adversarial between agents. He showed me that agents can work together to get deals done, it doesnt need to always be a battle. In the years that followed, everytime I did a deal with a Delmar agent, they would always tell me "Conrad told me you were great to work with". He went out of his way to promote me at a time when I was a babyface and struggling to get my foot in the door in Hamilton real estate, when there was absolutely nothing in it for him. Years later the Zurinis bought Escarpment, and Conrad helped turn our brokerage into an absolute powerhouse. His work ethic was endless. His kindness and generosity had no limits. I wish I had kept in closer contact with him over these last few years. I always looked forward to the birthday phone call, we'd spend a few minutes catching up. He never seemed like he was in a hurry to get off the phone. I missed his call this past year. I wish I had kept the voicemail. Conrad- you were a titan of the real estate industry, near and far. But more than that you were a good man. Until we meet again my friend.
Josh Purdon

I have had the privilege of working with RE/MAX Escarpment for 15 years and was made to feel comfortable and welcome from day one by the Zurini family.
Conrad was always willing to take the time to offer guidance whenever I needed advice. He had a way of explaining things that helped me better understand how to move forward with both buyers and sellers. No matter how busy he was, he always had a smile and a kind word.
Conrad touched the lives of many people throughout his career and will be greatly missed. I will always be grateful for his support, mentorship, and friendship. His memory will stay with me always.
My sincere condolences to the entire Zurini family.

I cannot tell you how extremely saddened I am to hear of Conrad’s passing. We shared many years of friendship, and I will always cherish the memories, laughter, and kindness they brought into my life.

Rest in peace old friend. Your incredible smile and kindness will always be the memory of you. Your mark on the world was incredible and something to be so proud of.
Marisa Franc

You don't often get somebody with the amount of knowledge, or the kinds of knowledge, that Conrad had to offer. He knew the real estate world inside and out. He would challenge the status quo, stood up for agents, spoke out against policies that just didn't/don't work, and made the industry and community better because of his leadership. Any agent who worked with him is a better agent because of his teaching.
Braedon Popovich

I was so saddened to hear of Conrad's passing. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and to all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
I went to high school with Conrad, and he was a born leader.
One of my favourite memories is from our Biology class. Conrad sat behind me and kept me laughing for an entire semester. Between the two of us, we probably drove poor Mr. Garbot (and likely the rest of the class) completely crazy. To this day, I can still hear Conrad's laughter and him telling me, every single day, that he was having "la sepia" for dinner, said perfectly in his father's Italian accent.
Some memories stay with you forever, and this is one of them.
You will never be forgotten, Conrad. Rest in peace.
Angie Bailey (Cantelmi)

My deepest condolences Ann for the loss of your son, Joey and Mari for the loss of your brother and Alessandra for the loss of your dad.
Conrad had a larger-than-life personality that will be missed and remembered by all.
May you find comfort as you navigate through this very difficult time.
My thoughts and prayers to the Zurini family and Re/Max family.
Rest in peace Conrad

Conrad truly was a one of a kind leader. He was always willing to listen and to try to help you achieve your goals. There's so many instances that he went above and beyond as a leader for me and I will forever be grateful to have known him. I'll never forget the converstations we had and the birthday calls; especially the last one.
Rest In Peace Conrad!
To the Zurinis' my deepest sympathies and prayers - may God provide your family strength and comfort.

It has taken a while to compose my thoughts around the news of Conrad’s passing – part out of denial, and part out of not knowing where to begin. It is never easy when a friend passes, especially so unexpectedly.
My relationship with Conrad goes back to the early 2000’s when he was a committee volunteer, Chair, and eventually Director. We worked well together, and even then, it was clear he was a “free radical” in the room. He did not follow conventional expectations for a director or a volunteer, was a little unpredictable at times, but could always be relied on as an independent thinker who challenged the norms (all of which needed to be challenged).
He was a big personality, and like other big personalities, could be referred to by just his first name. When you heard someone talking about Conrad, you never had to ask which Conrad they meant.
Conrad was a formidable force, an advocate not only for his agents but for the entire profession. The conversations we had were not always easy, but they were always worthwhile.
He will be missed.
My deepest condolences to the Zurini family, as well as his extended real estate family.

Conrad, you are sadly missed. You were a pillar of the Real Esate community...not just locally, or across the country, but across the globe. I met you years ago before you were involved in your family's brokerage at Re/Max Delmar, and after we were introduced, Mr Q. said "that is the sharpest kid I have ever met, and boy was he right. You went on to create an empire, and one that will hopefully continue in your stead.
My deepest and heart felt condolences go out to the Zurini and Re/Max families, and most of all to those closest to you. May God Bless your family. Rest in Peace my friend.

To the Zurini Family: My deepest and most sincere condolences.
Each week, I tuned in and listened to Conrad and Rob speak about THE Real Estate and Market updates in Hamilton. I truly enjoy listening to them talk. I think it's because they offered honest opinions and advice that is tough to comeby in today's age.
I never had the priveledge to meet Conrad in person but from listening to him speak each week on the podcast, I felt like I knew him personally.
I wish I did get to meet him. I can tell from the outpouring love and posts, he was a remarkable person. He will never be forgotten.
Ankit Khanna

When I first met Conrad many years ago he had this thing called a Blackberry and was doing this thing called texting. My first impression was something like 'it'll never become popular ' and 'why would anyone want to type when they could talk on the phone'. It would take the personal touch out of communication. 'He's one of those techies.'
It didnt take long to see that was far from the truth. His warmth, his kindness and his ability to make you feel like family were the very human qualities that made him stand out in a room full of people.
His passion for technology was the same enthusiasm that he brought to his business and everything he did.
He will be remembered as an industry leader but even more so as a presence, the personal touch he applied to all his relationships and as a friend.
Heartfelt condolences to all his loved ones. Rest in Peace Conrad. Memory Eternal.

I met the Zurini family, when I first started real estate back in 2004 at Remax Delmar location. Conrad was already a great leader, an exceptional mentor at that time , always full of life, laughing, joking with everyone. It was a fun working environement . Most of the agents were present at the office, ( good old days ) we would go to Barangas for lunch and back to show houses in the evening. One minute you could have a cold margarita and tell funny stories like long time friends , in the next minute Conrad would be your greatest mentor assisting you rephrasing a septic condition.
It was a super fun working environment , the support and mentorship coming from Conrad was truly exceptional.
It was a great pleasure working with You, Conrad , at the Delmar office in Stoney Creek, I will cherish all those memories . The world will miss your laughter, your crazy attitude, your willingness to live life to the fullest, to be unique in every way. Your legacy will live forever, rest in peace my friend!

My deepest condolences go out to the Zurini family. If we're missing Conrad's "larger than life" presence, I can't even begin to imagine what a void he leaves in his personal life and family.
I will forever be grateful for the personal support Conrad offered to me and the encouragement through experiences that made me wonder if I was in the right place. Somehow, no matter how busy he was, he always had time for a call to talk things through and to leave me feeling like I could handle anything.
He will be sorely missed!

My deepest condolences to the entire Zurini family. There is no way to prepare, when someone you truly love leaves this life unexpectedly. Conrad was a respected leader, proud to help build the family's business to where it is today. May all the wonderfully memories you carry help you heal. My thoughts and prayers to you all.
UNTIL YOU MEET AGAIN! R.I.P. CONRAD
Jacqueline Vincent- Gilmore

Before we made the transition to the Re/Max brand, I spent time speaking with several respected realtors across the network about their experiences and the leaders they admired most. One name came up immediately and consistently: Conrad Zurini. What struck me most was not only the respect people had for Conrad as a Broker/Owner, but the genuine affection they had for him as a person. Time and again, I heard stories about how he led by example, treated people with kindness and respect, and always made time for others regardless of their role or experience level. He was known for being personable, and deeply committed to the success of those around him. People spoke of him not simply as a successful business leader, but as someone who was truly personal with everyone he met and who made people feel valued. Although I did not have the privilege of knowing Conrad as well as many of you did, the impact he had on our industry was evident long before I joined the Re/Max family. The stories shared with me painted a picture of a remarkable leader whose legacy will continue through the countless lives he touched. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family, his colleagues, and the entire Re/Max Escarpment and Niagara team. He will be remembered with great respect and gratitude.

I've only been with the Escarpment family for a short while but from the moment I stepped through its doors, I immediately felt welcomed. I think it was the very day I signed, I got a call from Conrad welcoming me aboard. This wasn't some pat, formulaic business call - this was from a caring human being who was truly happy to have me come into his fold.
Conrad continually demonstrated his passion and deep knowledge and insight of this industry, being a fierce advocate for pushing the industry forward and pushing his agents and colleagues toward that same standard. He was loud, courageous and unapologetic in those arenas and witnessing him made me so proud and inspired to be part of his organization.
While he was all that, the most significant memory I will have is that birthday call where for about 10min, we could just shoot the s*** as friends. I will miss that the most.
Rest well, Captain My Captain. My deepest condolences to the entire Zurini family.
Yiin Shayegan

With a heavy heart, I say goodbye to an extraordinary man, mentor, leader, and broker, Conrad Zurini.
For the past 13 years, I had the privilege of working under Conrad’s leadership. He was not simply the owner of a brokerage; he was truly the heart of it.
What stood out most was his kindness, generosity, humour, and willingness to help. No matter how busy he was, Conrad always made himself available to offer guidance, share his honest opinion, or simply take a call.
I will especially miss his annual birthday call, something I looked forward to every year. He had a special way of making people feel remembered and important.
My deepest condolences go out to the entire Zurini family. Thank you for sharing Conrad with all of us for so many years. His legacy will live on through the lives he touched, the careers he helped build, and the friendships he nurtured.
You will be deeply missed, Conrad, but never forgotten.

Rust zacht, Conrad.

I had the privilege of meeting Conrad in Italy many years ago, and that moment has remained with me ever since.
What struck me was not only his professionalism, but above all his simplicity, generosity, and extraordinary ability to bring people together. Through him, I saw one of the finest examples of what it truly means to be part of the RE/MAX family.
Throughout my extraordinary journey with RE/MAX, I have had the privilege of listening to and learning from many successful professionals and leaders who have left their mark on our network. Yet, among all the stories, ideas, and lessons I have heard over the years, this simple story is the one that has guided me the most, both professionally and personally.
I still remember an episode Conrad shared during one of our meetings. When he was a real estate agent, he organized an annual barbecue at his home for his clients. It was not a marketing event, but a genuine moment of connection and appreciation. His clients became friends, and many of them became enthusiastic advocates for his work, referring other people who wanted to buy or sell a home. Among them, there was even a friendly competition to see who could introduce the most opportunities.
What impressed me most was not the business success of this idea, but the profound humanity behind it. Conrad opened the doors of his home, his family, and his private life to the people he had served professionally. He understood that real estate is, before anything else, about relationships, trust, and community.
For me, that story became a lasting reference point. It taught me that the most meaningful results come not only from professional expertise, but from the ability to build genuine relationships and to place people at the center of everything we do.
Today, as I read about the causes he supported and the positive impact he had on so many lives, I recognize that same spirit of generosity and service. His leadership was rooted in sincere care for others, and that is a rare gift.
Leaders like Conrad do not come along every day. His absence will undoubtedly leave a profound void among his team, his friends, his family, and the many people whose lives he touched.
I am deeply saddened by this loss and join the entire RE/MAX community in expressing my heartfelt condolences. My thoughts are with his family, loved ones, colleagues, and all those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Conrad leaves behind much more than an extraordinary professional legacy. He leaves an enduring example of how success and human values can go hand in hand.— Sabrina Borelli, RE/MAX Gruppo Casa RE, Rome, Italy.

Conrad was my neighbor when I lived on Deervalley, years before I was a Realtor. I would see him pushing the baby carriage with his wife. My ex knew him and had great respect for him too, and he did not like anyone, Conrad was his realtor years before I knew him. This is a hearfelt loss, my condolences to the Zurini family. This loss is like a family member, Conrad will be missed, he was dynamic and caring, ingredients for greatness.

Real Estate will not be the same without you. A true leader and mentor. You are deeply missed.

Rosa Viviano

To the Zurini Family,
It is with a heavy heart, but a mind filled with deeply cherished memories, that I offer my deepest condolences on the unexpected passing of Conrad.
In our industry, we encounter thousands of people, but only a rare few leave an indelible mark on our lives and our careers. Conrad was one of those extraordinary individuals.
For me, Conrad wasn’t just a leader or a colleague; he was a steadfast pillar of support, wisdom, and genuine kindness.
When I look back on all our years together, the thing that stands out above all else was his unwavering reliability. It didn’t matter how busy the day was, how chaotic the market became, or what time the clock showed—if you called, Conrad answered.
In a world where everyone is rushing, Conrad always made you feel like your call was the most important one of his day. Countless times, I found myself faced with a complex situation, a unique challenge, or a deal that required just the right touch. I would reach out, and without hesitation, Conrad would be there to help draft that perfect, airtight special clause or offer the precise guidance needed to navigate the storm.
His door and his mind were always open. To be able to call Conrad, lay out a scenario, and say, "Conrad, I need your opinion on this," was a privilege. His insights were sharp, his judgment was impeccable, and his advice was always rooted in integrity and a deep respect for the people in this business.
Conrad’s legacy isn’t just in the incredible business he helped build, but in the quiet, everyday moments of generosity that defined his character. He gave his time freely, his knowledge eagerly, and his friendship unconditionally.
To the Zurini family, thank you for sharing him with all of us.
Please know that his spirit lives on in the countless agents he mentored, the deals he helped save, and the profound respect he earned from everyone who had the honor of working alongside him.
He will be deeply missed, but never, ever forgotten.
With my utmost respect, affection, and deepest sympathy,

It was with deep and profound sadness that we heard of the passing of our friend, colleague and esteemed broker, Conrad Zurini.
Conrad was a respected leader in our industry whose vision, dedication, and boundless energy left a lasting impact on colleagues, clients, and the real estate community. He was truly one of a kind and will be deeply missed.
No matter how busy he was, Conrad always took the time to reach out with a birthday wish, a Christmas greeting, or a thoughtful message during the holidays. Those small gestures spoke volumes about the kind of person he was.
His infectious enthusiasm had a way of making you believe anything was possible. Every conversation with Conrad left me feeling encouraged, supported, and inspired. His commitment to our community, his family, and our profession was remarkable and will be remembered for generations.
Our hearts are with his family, friends, and everyone whose life he touched. While he will be greatly missed, his legacy of leadership, kindness, and generosity will continue to live on.
We will miss him and his wonderful sense of humour so very much. Heartbroken.
Chris and Les Sohar

I am incredibly heartbroken and overwhelmed by the passing of Conrad Zurini. His leadership, humour, and fairness were truly inspiring, and I counted him among the most impactful mentors I have had in my life.
It was a wonderful privilege to attend the Las Vegas RE/MAX conventions with him and share stories about business, growth, and caring for others. Conrad was always kind and generous with me — especially when I was diagnosed with cancer. He took the time to listen to my concerns, talk through how I wanted to handle my business during such a difficult period, and he fully supported every decision I made.
I can barely express how sad I am over his passing. We have lost someone irreplaceable.
My thoughts are with the entire Zurini family and with our RE/MAX Escarpment family. I know your sadness has no bounds, but I hope that in this very difficult time, you can find solace in your memories of him and in the warmth of the many people who grieve alongside you.

You will be greatly missed. My heart aches knowing you are gone, but I know you'll be watching from up above. I'll miss the yearly phone calls for my birthday. You were a leader, mentor, and trusted source of guidance for so many of us. My sincere condolences go out to his family, friends, and entire real estate community.

Over the past few days, I’ve been collecting my thoughts about Conrad’s passing and what I could possibly say following such a tragedy. First and foremost, I want to offer my heartfelt condolences to the Zurini family, along with the countless others whose lives have been touched by this loss.
Regrettably, I didn’t know Conrad as well as I would have liked. I certainly had opportunities to interact with him more, but I’ll admit that I was often hesitant to reach out. Partly because I knew how busy he was, but more so because his knowledge and expertise were genuinely intimidating, and I mean that as a compliment. In my interactions with him, it was immediately apparent how intelligent he was. I often worried that in any serious real estate discussion he might quickly discover how little I knew compared to his vast knowledge. As the saying goes, “Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.”
When people pass away in old age, we often hear, “At least they lived a good life.” When someone is taken far too soon, there is much less comfort to be found in familiar expressions. That led me to look into what philosophers, psychologists, and other experts generally agree are the defining characteristics of a life well-lived.
The qualities most consistently associated with a life well-lived can be distilled into five themes:
Love and Belong — Build deep relationships and meaningful connections with family, friends, and community.
Grow in Character and Wisdom — Continually develop your character, knowledge, and understanding of the world.
Make a Positive Difference — Contribute to something larger than yourself and help others thrive.
Live Authentically and Purposefully — Align your actions with your values and dedicate yourself to meaningful pursuits.
Fully Experience Life — Create lasting memories, embrace opportunities, and live with few regrets.
Through my limited interactions with Conrad, as a regular attendee of his seminars and training sessions, and as someone who followed what he shared with both our team and the public, I saw countless examples of someone who not only met these ideals but embodied them.
In the days, weeks, and years ahead, those who knew him best will undoubtedly continue to share stories and memories that demonstrate just how fully he lived these principles.
While I may not have known Conrad as well as many others did, one thing is abundantly clear to me:
Conrad Zurini lived a remarkably full life.
To Conrad, and to a life well-lived.
Kellen Miseferi

Having only joined the RE/MAX Escarpment family in February, I didn't have the privilege of working under Conrad's leadership for long.
Shortly after joining, I received a phone call from him welcoming me to the brokerage. It was only a brief conversation, but in those few minutes, I felt like I had known him forever. He had a warmth and sincerity that immediately put people at ease, along with a charisma that is truly rare to come across.
I remember him telling me he was calling from his cell phone and encouraging me to save his number and call him anytime if I needed anything. What stood out most was how genuine he sounded. It was clear that he meant it. From everything I've heard and witnessed, Conrad lived those words every day with his colleagues, family, friends, and the countless people whose lives he touched.
My heart is heavy knowing that our industry and community have lost such an incredible person. Although my time knowing him was brief, his kindness left a lasting impression on me.
My deepest condolences go out to his family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. May the many wonderful memories you shared bring comfort, healing, and moments of joy in the days ahead.
Rest in peace, Conrad.

Conrad was known to so many in the REMAX community and network. Although I didn't know him personally, as a RE/MAX Broker/Owner I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to all who knew him.

was so funny. That's what I'll miss the most , his humor. He would write me a little notes on my commission checks. I saved every single one of them and I'm so glad I did. I'll miss you Conrad.❤️

I had the privilege to meet you many times, and many times I had the privilege to listen and learn from you. I will miss you, we will miss you very much. Have a good time, wherever you are.

My heartfelt condolences to the Ann, Joey, Mari and the entire Zurini family on the loss of Conrad Zurini.
I'm deeply saddened by this news. I will always remember his passion for the industry and innovation but most importantly his dedication to his family. An incredible individual whose infectious spirit always brought joy to those around him.
Conrad was a tremendous supporter of my business when I joined ReMax Escarpment as a member of RBC's Mortgage Specialist team. He was also one of the first people to call me when I decided to venture on my own as a Mortgage Broker with Dominion Lending. He was so encouraging and supportive. A man that was always in touch with those around him and never too busy to make a call. I will treasure and remember him always.
May his legacy continue to inspire us and may the memories bring comfort to all who had the honour and privilege of being in his presence.
Our industry has lost a leader, an innovator and a true gentleman.
Rest in peace Conrad.

Conrad,
I met you at the C7 RE/MAX Brasil congress in May 2025. I had been invited by Peixoto to learn more about the franchise model, and at first I felt a little out of place — I wasn't part of the network yet. But you changed that with your presence.
You gave me a pin during that brief encounter. I got nervous and couldn't properly thank you in English, even after trying twice. That stayed with me. So I applied the 72-hour rule you taught us yourself: within three days I wrote to you, introduced myself, and told you what your speeches had meant to me.
You responded. With generosity and warmth. You said you often wondered whether your messages were truly being heard — and that now you knew they were. You promised to send me your top 10 books from your library and to invite me to your online live events.
I kept that email. And I still keep the pin to this day.
I was planning to see you again and tell you in person what I had built since that day — today I am a RE/MAX franchisee. That will no longer be possible, and it hurts in a way I didn't expect.
Thank you for showing me it is never too late to adjust your path. At 58 years old, your words confirmed that I was heading in the right direction.
Your legacy lives on in every person you touched. In me, certainly.

AN INCREDIBLE LOSS TO ALL THAT HAVE HAD THE PLEASURE OF KNOWING CONRAD. I MET HIM THROUGH HIS FATHER LOUIS BACK IN THE DELMAR REAL ESTATE DAYS ON PARKDALE AVENUE, LONG BEFORE HE WAS OLD ENOUGH TO ENTER THE BUSINESS, IN THE EARLY 70s. HIS DAD AND MOM, ANNE WERE AND ARE CLASS INDIVIDUALS. THEIR WORD WAS THEIR BOND AS WAS CONRADS.
IT IS SO SAD THAT AN INDIVIDUAL AS BRILLIANT AS CONRAD HAS BEEN TAKEN FROM US, SO YOUNG. I REMEMBER WHEN CONRAD VISITED OUR HOME IN ANCASTER, TO DISCUSS A DEAL, HE WAS UNBELIEVABLY HUMBLE, AS WERE HIS PARENTS, AND HE ALWAYS MADE YOU FEEL, THAT YOU WERE THE ONLY PERSON IN THE ROOM.
I SHALL MISS OUR TALKS VERY MUCH. LOVE AND BEST WISHES TO THE ENTIRE ZURINI FAMILY. GOD BLESS AND REST IN PEACE, KNOWING YOU MADE "REAL ESTATE A BETTER PLACE" THE OUTLAW FAMILY.
ROBERT OUTLAW

Dear Conrad,
It is hard to find the right words to describe the loss of someone who meant so much to so many people.
I have known you for many years through the RE/MAX network, and what always stood out to me was not only your success, but your genuine kindness, generosity and willingness to help others. You were always social, always open, always ready to advise, encourage and share your knowledge.
We were honoured to have you in the Netherlands as a speaker during our Growth Summit and as a trainer for our brokers. You inspired our people, challenged us to grow and left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of learning from you.
I will also never forget the time we visited the Dutch flower fields together, surrounded by tulips. We had spoken about creating a similar experience for Dutch real estate professionals this year during Inman. It is painful to realise that we will no longer be able to do that together.
But your support went far beyond business. When I was looking for advice about an exchange year for my children, you were there with guidance, experience and sincere personal involvement. That was Conrad: always willing to help, not because he had to, but because he cared.
Your passing leaves a great emptiness. In our industry, in the RE/MAX family, and personally for me. I am grateful for the memories, the conversations, the advice and the friendship.
You will be deeply missed, but your impact, your generosity and your spirit will live on in all the people you helped and inspired.
Rest in peace, my friend.

With one Portugal Brokers Summit and one big conversation...
The most inpiring Remax personality I've ever met.
Thank you Conrad.
André Paixão

Conrad was always kind to me as I moved around brokerages trying to find my footing in the Hamilton Real Estate scene. I landed at Re/Max briefly and he was very helpful and kind. Condolances to his family.
April Von Braun

I joined REMAX Escarpment 5 years ago. When I went to interview the manager was out of town so Conrad took the meeting. I didn't even know who he was, but he blew me away. I joined on the spot. I feel privileged to have had such an inspirational leader, mentor and friend while I was there. I always looked forward to my Birthday call, and he always picked up when I needed him even the swear fests as he listened to my struggle du jour and when I texted him later to say sorry for the bitch session, his response was "Don't EVER apologize, you know I love a good swear fest!" I am truly gutted that he is gone, but he will always be in our hearts and never forgotten. Thank you Conrad for being the example of an exceptional leader, you were truly one of a kind and I'm a better agent and person for having the privilege of knowing you. Rest in Peace xo

I had the opportunity to work with Conrad when he was co-chair of the Affordable Housing Flagship. People were often amazed that a realtor had such passion for
this work. He taught
me a lot, inspired me to actually build affordable housing and celebrated my
achievement. We stayed in touch for over cappuccinos and would
gossip about politics. I will miss him. May his memory be a blessing. 💔
Renée Wetselaar

A good man who cared for his family deeply and never avoided taking a call. Friendly, good-humoured and generous. He always had a funny or nice story to tell about his daughter, and that made him special in our eyes. May the pain in the family's hearts be healed with wonderful memories.
Alison Walsh and Louis Volk

With a heavy heart I say goodbye to an extraordinary man, mentor and broker.
For the past 13 years, I have had the privilege of working under Conrad, in all my years in Real Estate I have never known a broker quite like Conrad. He wasn't just the owner of a brokerage -- he was the heart of it.
One of the things I will miss most is his annual birthday call. It became something I looked forward to. In a busy industry and with so many people depending on him, he always took the time to make people feel important. I couldn't wait to receive that call each year.
My deepest condolences go out to the entire Zurini Family. Thank you for sharing Conrad with all of us for so many years. His legacy lives on int he countless lives he touched, the careers he helped build, and the friendships he nurtured along the way.
You will be deeply missed, Conrad, but never forgotten.
Laura Bielak

My mentor , my 24/7 resource man . We will meet on the other side.
God Bless
Sincere condolences to the Family .
Mark Wasilewski

I remember the first day when Conrad walked into our team office in Grimsby and I immediately knew why people liked him. He could have asked to just sit with Lynn to try to sway her to come to Escarpment, but instead he sat with the large group of us and listened. He heard us talk about what was important to us and what we were hoping to achieve. He was more than a "boss" or owner, he knew how to have fun, while also keeping it real, serious, and finding the light in those serious times. Although we didn't talk a lot, when we talked it was with purpose and passion.
I will miss his boisterous laugh and mild frustration during market updates when we were not watching the market changes as closely as him. But it showed that he was a different breed of person and likely we will not see another Conrad again. But he left a legacy to be envious of and I hope to have even a fraction of the impact he had on so many lives.
Thank you for everything you did for Real Estate as a whole, and everyone around you.

Remembering a leader, friend, brother, and visionary

When I first heard of Conrad’s passing, I was in complete shock. I could hardly speak or process what I was hearing. I had seen him only a few months earlier, and the Conrad I knew was larger than life—not just because of his height, but because of the confidence, energy, and warmth he brought wherever he went.
I remember how impeccably stylish he always was, much like his father, with his collection of eyeglass frames, sharp outfits, bright smile, and mischievous laugh. He was incredibly intelligent, innovative, and witty, with a gift for inspiring others. Whether speaking at RE/MAX conventions around the world or welcoming people into his offices, he generously shared his knowledge and made everyone feel valued.
One memory I will always cherish is from the RE/MAX Europe Convention in Rome in 2016. It was my first time speaking on stage, and I was terrified. Conrad cheered me on, took photos and videos, and helped me embrace the moment with confidence. That was who he was—someone who lifted people up and made them believe in themselves.
Conrad, you are deeply missed and will never be forgotten. Give your dad and Mr. P a big hug from all of us. I can only imagine what an incredible reunion that was.
Rest in eternal peace, my friend. Until we meet again.
Michelle Goodridge

My deepest love and support goes out to the Zurini's in this hard time.
It is hard to pick a favourite Memory with Conrad as I do not think there is just one time that wasnt unique and special. I will say Conrad always knew what to say and how to say it. He had this unique way of making you feel special and seen its why I admired him so much. Real Estate lost such a huge voice that I do not think we will ever fill or forget.
Joe Sequeira

I will forever cherish our last phone call together, catching up and wishing each other the best; him on the other line driving somewhere, all exuberant and ready for the day as always. I look back on that memory, knowing he didn't have to reach out to me but he did, because that was who he was. He cared so deeply. Always curious about your life, your success, goals, family and friends. With a voice that could be spotted from miles away.
I will deeply miss you Conrad, along with everyone who was lucky enough to know you. My heart aches for Mari, Ann, Joey, Ala, Ar and everyone so close to him. My love, strength and deepest condolences go out to you at this difficult time.
Conrad, you were, are, and always will be so loved & cherised, and your memory and legacy will forever live on.
Rest peacefully, I'll make sure to wear a scarf on the first cold day of the year for you.

To the Zurini Family,
"I thank my God every time I remember you." Philippians 1:3
The Zurini family has always represented something special. It is a family built on love, loyalty, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to one another. Through every challenge and every triumph, the strength of this family has come from the bonds they share and the values they have carried from one generation to the next. Conrad's story begins with family.
It begins with his parents, who instilled in him the qualities that would define his life—integrity, humility, generosity, resilience, and kindness. They taught him that character matters, that relationships matter, and that success is measured not by what you achieve for yourself, but by what you do for others. Those lessons became the foundation of Conrad's life.
It continues with the love and support of his remarkable sisters and, whose presence, encouragement, and devotion were a constant source of strength. Their relationship reflected what has always made the Zurini family so special—a deep and unwavering commitment to one another.
Family was never just a part of Conrad's life. Family was his life, and we are all fortunate to be apart of this great family and at Remax Escarpment we are all family.
He was a son who honored his parents through the way he lived his life. He was a brother whose love and loyalty never wavered.
The values he received from his family became the values he shared with the world, anyone fortunate enough to know Conrad quickly learned that he possessed a rare gift. He made people feel important. He made people feel welcome. He made people believe in themselves. He offered encouragement when it was needed most and support when it mattered most. He gave his time generously, shared his knowledge freely, and never hesitated to help others succeed.
What made Conrad truly exceptional was not simply what he accomplished, but how he accomplished it—with humility, grace, and a genuine concern for others.
The truth is that Conrad could never be separated from the family that raised him because he carried their values everywhere he went. The kindness people experienced in Conrad was a reflection of the kindness that has always lived within the Zurini family.
The generosity he showed others was a reflection of the generosity he learned at home. The compassion he demonstrated was rooted in the love that surrounded him throughout his life.
Together, the Zurini family has touched countless lives. They have supported friends, colleagues, neighbors, and strangers alike. They have opened doors, created opportunities, offered guidance, and extended kindness without expecting anything in return.
That is a remarkable legacy ,as Conrad's journey continued, he became a respected leader, an accomplished broker, and a mentor to many. Yet his professional success was never what defined him. What defined him was the way he treated people. His career gave him the opportunity to impact lives, but it was his character that made that impact meaningful.
The people he mentored will remember his guidance. The people he worked with will remember his leadership. The people who called him a friend will remember his loyalty. And the people who loved him will remember his heart.
Conrad leaves behind something far greater than professional accomplishments, my dear fiend leaves behind a legacy of family, friendship, compassion, generosity, and service to others.
To my friend Conrad, thank you for your friendship, your wisdom, your encouragement, and your unwavering belief in people. Thank you for every lesson, every conversation, every opportunity, and every moment shared.
You taught us that true success is not measured by wealth or recognition, but by the lives we touch and the people we help along the way.
The impact you had on my life is something I will carry with me forever.
My friend, I will never forget what you have done for me. I will never forget your kindness, your guidance, your generosity, and your friendship. You helped shape the lives of so many, including my own, and for that I will be forever grateful.
May you now rest in peace, surrounded by the love that you so freely gave throughout your life.
May your family find comfort in knowing that your legacy lives on in every life you touched, every person you inspired, and every heart that carries your memory forward.
You were a remarkable man because you came from a remarkable family.
Rest peacefully, my friend until we meet again,

Some people leave an impact on your career. Others leave an impact on your life.
I am heartbroken to hear of the passing of Conrad Zurrini.
I’ve known Conrad for as long as I can remember. As a little girl, I would sit around the RE/MAX Del Mar office while my mom worked. Years later, when I started my career at RE/MAX Escarpment, Conrad was the very first person to welcome me. He had a way of making people feel like they belonged. Today, I find myself working in that same office, and it feels impossible to imagine it without him.
From the day I became an Escarpment agent, I made it a personal goal that if Conrad was teaching a course, I would be in that room. He was one of those rare people who could make you think differently. He challenged you to be accountable. He pushed you to be better, not for the sake of sales, but for the sake of your clients, your reputation, and our industry as a whole.
Just a week ago, I was sitting in the front row of one of his courses. Listening. Learning. Taking notes. Watching the passion he still had after all these years. Conrad never stopped caring. He never stopped teaching. He never stopped believing that we could all be better than we were yesterday.
As a second-generation agent, I admired him deeply. He proved that success isn’t something you inherit—it’s something you earn every day through hard work, education, integrity, and showing up for people. He knew the numbers, the market trends, and the statistics better than almost anyone. But what made him truly exceptional was that he knew people even better.
He remembered birthdays. He checked in. He made people feel seen. In an industry that often focuses on transactions, Conrad focused on relationships.
One of the questions he often challenged us to ask ourselves was: What kind of agent do you want to be?
Today, my answer is simple.
I want to be like Conrad.
I want to know the stats, but know people better. I want to keep learning no matter how much experience I have. I want to make people feel valued. I want to leave every room a little better than I found it. I want to build a career measured not only by success, but by the lives I impact along the way.
Thank you, Conrad, for the lessons, the conversations, and the example you set. Thank you for helping shape the agent I am today. I don’t think any of us realized how much we would miss hearing your voice at the front of the room.
To the Zurrini family, please accept my deepest condolences, thoughts, and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. Thank you for sharing Conrad with all of us. His impact on this industry, and on the people within it, will never be forgotten. ❤️

Conrad was a force. I remember he made me so nervous when I first started at Re/Max and would work the front desk at Winterberry where his physical office was. A whirlwind of activity he never stayed long but always needed something immediately to help someone else out.
As I continued my career at Re/Max I got used to and began to admire this man who always had something going on but would pause to say Hi or wave and give you that big smile. I looked so forward to the his rendition of Twas the night before Christmas at the Annual Christmas party where he would mention different realtors by name and poke just a little fun at the different things going on in each of the offices that year.
When I started working in the payroll department I began to see Conrad almost daily and although each time he would be on the phone behind me pacing and signing cheques he would also check in at some point to see how everyone in the department office was doing and share some anecdote about his life or a trip he'd just been on. In this way I got to know the man behind the personality...he cooked for his family, loved his sisters in that teasing way a brother does and respected his parents and all they'd done to help him get where he was.
One of the last Christmas parties I went to he took me aside and thanked me for all that I did for the brokerage and just that little interaction meant more to me than he will ever know. He saw people, he thanked people even little old me in a crowd of many.
Conrad has left the building ... But not our hearts. Hugs and prayers to Anne, Joey, Mari and Ar. He knows your strength and resiliency will see you through this incredibly difficult time.

When I think of Conrad, I think of a leader who didn’t just run a brokerage—he built a family. He looked at each of us and recognized our potential long before we could see it in ourselves.
As we look across the GTHA, Niagara, and the entire global RE/MAX and real estate communities, these words ring profoundly true:
You guided us with a vision clear,
And championed us through every year.
You challenged us to stretch and grow,
And gave us all the room to show the work we love, the goals we chase.
Though now you take a different path,
Your legacy and impact will always last.
Conrad, your mentorship, and relentless drive have left an indelible mark on all our lives. We will carry your momentum forward.
Rest in peace, Conrad.

Some people come into your life and leave an everlasting impression. That was Conrad.
No matter where he was in the world or what he was doing, he always made time for people. Whether it was a birthday phone call, advice on a difficult deal, a story that would have you laughing, or simply being there when you needed him, Conrad had a remarkable way of making people feel seen, valued, and supported.
He led with integrity, stood up for what he believed in, and never hesitated to tell it like it was. He had your back when you needed him and celebrated your successes as if they were his own.
We will miss his wisdom, his humor, his stories, and his unwavering belief in the people around him. Our hearts are with Ann, Joey, Mari, Ally, AB, and the entire Zurini family.
Rest in peace, Conrad. Until we meet again. We are heartbroken that you're gone, but we like to think that wherever you are, you're already making people feel welcome, sharing stories, and changing lives the same way you did here.

Some people leave behind memories. Others leave behind a legacy.
Conrad was one of those people.
His impact is proof of that. He had a rare ability to command a room with integrity, conviction, humor, and genuine care for others. In a world where attention is often mistaken for influence, Conrad reminded us that true influence is earned through character.
In his untimely passing, we find ourselves reflecting on the example he set. His impact reaches far beyond what many will ever know. While he left this world far too soon, the mark he made on our industry, our communities, and the people fortunate enough to know him will endure.
We hope we all carry a piece of Conrad with us: the courage to stand up for what we believe in, the patience to listen with care, the honesty to speak truthfully, and the willingness to show up for people when they need us most. To make people feel seen. To leave people better than we found them.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Ann, Joey, Mari, Ally, AB, and the entire Zurini family, the RE/MAX family, and everyone whose life was touched by him.
Rest in peace, Conrad. Until we meet again. We are heartbroken that you're gone, but a part of us likes to think that wherever you are, you're already making people feel welcome, telling stories, sharing wisdom, and changing lives the same way you did here.

I am so blessed to have worked with Conrad. He was a man with many hats , but all of them were always about teaching and growing. Growing as agents, growing as a company, and always inspiring those who knew him across the globe. Conrad taught me so much, and for that I will be forever thankful.
My deepest condolences to Ann, Joey, Mari and Alessandra. My heart breaks for you all.

I remember when I started at RE/MAX and first heard your name. I was so nervous to run into the man so many people looked up to and spoke so highly of.
One day, as I was walking up the stairs at the office and you were coming down, you stopped, introduced yourself, and made me feel welcome. From that day on, you would always greet me by name, call me on my birthday, and even passed along a lead to me once.
As I read all the messages and stories being shared about you, one thing is undeniable: you were so much more than our boss and the owner of RE/MAX Escarpment. You showed us all that people mattered. You treated everyone with kindness and respect, regardless of how much business they brought in.
You were an incredible human being, and your loss leaves a gaping hole in the hearts of so many.
My deepest condolences to the entire Zurini family and to everyone who had the privilege of knowing you and spending time with you. You will be deeply missed.

I am still in shock.
Ten years ago, I had the pleasure of meeting my boss, Conrad Zurini, and was fortunate enough to work alongside him.
I remember being told, “He’s kind of a big deal.”
And he absolutely was.
Not because of titles or success—but because of the way he treated people.
If you knew Conrad, you knew he didn't just walk into a room... he arrived.
And then there were the glasses.
Conrad had more pairs of glasses than anyone I've ever met. Bold frames, colourful frames, classic frames—every pair seemed to have its own personality. Somehow, no matter which pair he was wearing, they suited him perfectly.
I absolutely loved him for it.
His mind moved a hundred miles an hour, which led to one of my favourite memories.
“Nicole, where’s that clause?”
“Which clause?”
“You know... THE clause.”
As if there was only one clause in all of real estate and I was somehow supposed to know exactly which one he meant.
That was Conrad. Fast. Brilliant. Passionate. Always ten steps ahead.
But what made him truly special was that no matter how busy he was, he was always one call away. Ready to help, offer advice, or have your back.
And every year, without fail, he'd call me on my birthday.
Not a text. Not an email. A phone call.
In a world where everyone is busy, that small gesture meant more than he probably ever realized.
That's who Conrad was. He remembered people. He showed up for people. He cared.
He was a legend. A GOAT. Truly one of one.
I am heartbroken by how suddenly he was taken from us.
To Ann, Joey, Mari, AR, and the entire Escarpment/Niagara Family, my deepest condolences. Conrad was deeply respected, deeply loved, and will be deeply missed.
Thank you for everything, Conrad.
Rest easy.
Nicole Lourenco

I remember meeting Conrad for the very first time over 10 years ago. We actually met to talk about our cars, as Teslas were still so new at the time. Not long after that meeting, it became an easy decision to join RE/MAX and have Conrad as my broker.
From day one, Conrad encouraged me, guided me, and always had a positive response to my crazy, out-of-the-box ideas for building my real estate business. No matter what idea I brought to him, his response was usually, "Yes. Whatever you need, let's make it happen." He genuinely wanted my team and I to succeed.
Over the years, our relationship grew far beyond broker and agent. Conrad became a friend. Every year on my birthday, I would get a phone call wishing me a happy birthday and checking in to see how things were going.
When Elek became sick, Conrad immediately told me that the company was there for us. He encouraged me to take whatever time I needed and assured me that my team would be supported and taken care of. When Isabel was born, a thoughtful welcome package arrived for our family.
It's those small touches, kind words, and thoughtful gestures that made Conrad who he was.
When we made the difficult decision to leave RE/MAX, Conrad called to wish us nothing but success. He told me the door would always be open. He said we would be missed, but he hoped one day we would return to the RE/MAX family.
That day came not long ago. When we returned, Conrad welcomed us back with open arms and once again said, "Whatever you need, let me know. I'm here to help. I want you to be successful, and I want you and your team to be happy."
Those words perfectly describe the kind of person he was.
As much as today is filled with sadness, I choose to remember the good he did, the positive conversations we shared, and the countless people he helped along the way. Those memories will always make me smile.
Conrad was more than a broker, more than a leader, and more than a mentor. He was a genuinely good person who cared deeply about others.
Thank you, Conrad, for everything you did for me, my family, and my team. You will be truly missed, forever remembered, and always looked up to.
Rest in peace, my friend.

The real estate world lost a legend, but for me this loss is also personal.
You weren’t just my Broker Owner. You were a friend first. It goes back our first meeting many years ago where we discovered we shared a similar career path in our youth other than real estate, and we had a similar descriptive vocabulary. I knew I was at the right place and connecting with the right man.
Some of my favourite memories were the countless coffees we shared. Unscheduled path crossing that turned into lengthy chats. We talked about real estate, business, family, world events and everything in between. Nothing was off limits. I valued every one of those conversations and appreciated your time.
I was grateful to have you in our home just a couple of weeks ago. You always treated my wife and son with kindness and respect, and that meant a great deal to me and us.
You were a true innovator, a disruptor and a visionary. Your impact reached far beyond our office, our city, or even our country. You inspired people on the world stage to think bigger, work harder and become better.
You are irreplaceable. There will never be another Conrad.
I will miss the birthday calls, the coffee chats, the laughs and your perspective.
Thank you for your friendship, your guidance and the example you set for all of us.
My heartfelt condolences to the entire Zurini family and to everyone whose life was touched by yours.
You will never be forgotten 🙏

It's truly difficult to find the right words to explain what a significant human being Conrad was to everyone. I always admired Conrad's ambition and drive. He had a hand in everything, including the appointment centre report that I assist with each week. I always enjoyed seeing his lively and insightful social media posts regarding what's happening in the appointment centre from a stats perspective. I will forever miss Conrad's speeches & stories during the holiday party & holiday luncheons at the Queenston office. Even getting his birthday call is something I’ll always cherish. Anyone who knew how busy he was knows how special it felt when he took the time to call and make you feel important. I am forever grateful to have had the opportunity to work with you Conrad, I will miss you.
Jessica Dow

It’s about the details and his personal touches.
Conrad stopped by my office about a month ago and paused. He said that since we hadn’t 'chatted' in a while (his words), and he just wanted to check in on me. I asked how his daughter was doing in Europe, and he shared that she was back in North America and that he’d be attending her graduation from Syracuse that weekend. It was a Friday, my birthday, and when I mentioned it, he smiled and said, “Oh, now I get why you were top of mind—I have you on my list!” I always found it incredibly thoughtful that he would call people from his extensive contact list ON their actual birthdays.
We continued chatting, and he seemed genuinely interested in what was happening in my life as I spoke about my kids. He shared how proud he was of his daughter, and it felt less like a business conversation and more like a moment with family.
His loss is a shocking one, something many of us are still trying to process. We remain in disbelief. Rest in peace to our fearless leader.

Where does one even start with this.... Working with Conrad was such a whirlwind, and I am so eternally grateful I had the opportunity to be a part of that. He had such a way of making everyone feel like they mattered and were included. Working with Escarpment has been one of the greatest opportunities I've had, and when I started in the position I am in, I never would have, in a million years, expected being welcomed in as family too, but anyone who knows the Zurinis knows that's par for the course. I think one of my most cherished memories was us sharing our birthday; seeing who would reach out to who first was a fun game that slowly got more competitive over the years. The calls going through the drive-through or being out and about would always make me stop, and we would just have a good chuckle. He was more than just our Broker of Record; he was our friend, our confidant, our person.
